TOBY - 3 YEARS OLD - BULL TERRIER

Introducing the lovely 3 year old Toby, who is looking for a breed experience home. Toby has shown no real concerns around other dogs but due to his needs, Welfare feel he would benefit as an only dog with the possibility of introducing another dog further down the line.

Toby is a very clever lad who fears no fences, he is very nosy so good strong fences are a must. Toby is clean around the house and enjoys his food.

Ideal family would be with older children as he is very strong especially on the lead. Welfare feel Toby requires more confidence as he will panic when placed on the lead causing him to pull and tug.

Toby is very loving. He would benefit from having people around him for the most part of the day. He is crate trained and will sit on demand and because of his love of people he has good recall.

He is now fully vaccinated, castrated, flea'd and wormed up to date. He behaved well at the vets once he arrived.

ROSA - 3 YEARS OLD - BULL TERRIER

Rosa is a pretty dark brindle, 2 year old girl looking for her forever home. Rosa's ongoing training is still required with pulling on the lead and showing far too much interest in other dogs business. This is a result of living with other dogs and all fighting for top spot. Her owners gave Rosa up as a last resort.

Rosa will jump up and become very excitable and this can, if not controlled lead to nipping of clothes, however since being in Welfare and recieving consistent training, Rosa is realising that this behaviour is not acceptable and she is responding well and looking for forgiveness.

Rosa shows no aggression toward people, and she could live with older chidren who are dog savvy. Rosa loves to play, and she just wants to please. A person/family with breed experience are a must for Rosa, who will in time respond to become a much valued family dog with guidelines and continued support from the Welfare Trust. Rosa is spayed and all vaccines up to date. She has shown no interest in chewing up to yet and she is crate trained. Rosa is healthy and enjoys a dry biscuit and meat diet.

If you feel you are the right person to continue with training with Welfare support, please apply.

ALFIE - 2 YEARS OLD - BULL TERRIER

Alfie is just over 2 years old and found himself in Welfare due to the sudden death of his much loved previous owner. Alfie used to enjoy a walk down to the local pub and was much admired.

Alfie is gentle on the lead, loving and kind. He shows no interest in other dogs around him and is house trained. He enjoys his food and has no skin problems.

Fully vaccinated, castrated / wormed / flea’d up to date. He would suit any family with children from 10 years upwards.

PEDRO - 2 YEARS OLD - BULL TERRIER

Pedro is a lovely tri coloured, 2 year old boy who arrived into Welfare after he was let loose off his lead in a public area and decided he did not like the 2 small free running dogs that came into his space. His behaviour shocked his young family who decide to give him up to Welfare for fear of him ever doing the same again.

Pedro was living with a young child. It’s safe to say he was a bit of a handful upon arrival but has now very quickly adapted to his new environment. He has shown no interest in the other dogs around him at all.

He is gentle on the lead and spotlessly clean around his living area. Pedro enjoys his food and is very affectionate.

Pedro will be castrated and his vaccinations will be brought up to date.

He will make a great family dog for the right family.

FRANKIE - 15 MONTHS OLD - BULL TERRIER

Frankie is 15 month old, she previously lived with 2 small dogs but she decided she preferred to have her own space. She has lived happily with a cat. Frankie is house trained and enjoys her raw meat and biscuit diet. She is gentle on the lead, and is very loving. Frankie will be available in a few weeks after she has been spayed and received her booster vaccinations.

DOZA - 4 YEARS OLD - BULL TERRIER

Doza is 4 year old, brindle and white in colour and a lovely lad who has not had the best start of life and while most of his needs have now been met, it is hoped that a loving experience family can be found for him to continue to grow and develop.

Doza will not share his life with another dog and furies are also not suitable. Doza is loving, and his house training is coming on well. He enjoys running in a freedom field feeling the grass on his feet.

He is castrated, vaccinated, wormed and flea’d up to date.

Doza travels well in the car. He enjoys his food and has gained weight. Some work is still needed on the lead.

If you feel you can help this lad to lead the happy, fulfilled life he was previously denied, please apply.
